2009 Yamaha V-Max officially unveiled

Yamaha has officially unveiled the 2009 V-Max, powered by a new 1,679cc V4 engine that produces 197 bhp at 9,000 rpm with 123 ft/lb of torque at 6,500 rpm. Production numbers will be limited, and a special online reservation system has been created.

Steve Plater rides YZF-R6 to win at TT 2008

After completing the Superstock TT race in eighth place on his own Nitro-sponsored Yamaha R1 on Monday morning, Steve Plater hopped aboard the AIM Yamaha YZF-R6 Supersport machine and rode a further four-lap race to secure a fine second place in the first of two Supersport races at the Isle of Man TT races.
