“I like this place - sure, it's not located on the most exciting biking roads, but it's a great rendezvous point for north London. The food is more than adequate, and the service efficient.”

“Sadly The Ace should have confined itself to motorcycle mythology. This corporately commercialised and sanitised version of a previously great transport cafe with its petrol station, is now in the wrong place for a decent burn up and bares little or no relevance to its roots.
I foolishly joined the club, but didn't renew my membership after not being allowed to park my bike in the car park on a "Bangra Night" (chock full of chavs in VW Golfs). I was on my way home after a 50 mile ride and I only wanted a cup of splosh, for God's sake. But I was marshalled away (not enough profit margin I guess).
One of those places that sells itself on past reputation creating the illusion, and more to the point selling, that you're not a real biker if you haven't been there.
Someone should tell this misguided generation it's the people who make the scene and not the scene that makes the people.
But in this day of Harley Davidson Aftershave, Back Street Heroes Magazine, paganism and all the other necessary paraphernalia where owning a motorcycle doesn't even come into it, I'm sure it will thrive.”

“Love the atmosphere at The Ace. The ride can be horrible - found a better route through Sutton, Kingston, Kew, then North Circular. Food excellent, brilliant on a nice, hot Friday night!”
