A family-run, traditional "roadside cafe". A popular location for bikers when the building used to be a Little Chef. Re-fitted and opened in 2007, Loomies sits at the crossing of two great bike routes - the A32 and A272. Very friendly, good food, lots of bikes, lounge area, big screen TV and more to come.

“Rode the 58 miles to Loomies today (Sunday). I think I may have arrived a bit late in the day, all race bikes, but a couple of friendly people to chat to. Staff were nice, the breakfast was of excellent quality but could have been a bit more plentiful for the price. That said, the fried egg was cooked to perfection, I think it must have been the best fried egg I've ever had in a cafe.
Nice roads, fairly quiet traffic-wise, but the sort of roads you need to know to travel at speed on. A few vintage bikes started to turn up just as I was leaving. Aside from that most British of weather conditions (excluding rain that is) the multi directional head wind - you know the one that changes direction to make sure you're always riding into it - a most pleasant excursion. Must repeat it with a few riding mates.”
