“Owen's right, 2 out of 10, food quality not the best. New cafe opened over the road that seems much cleaner.”

“First went in 1999 and since then the cafe's had a revamp inside but it's essentially the same. The food's quite basic but it's not expensive and I miss the Faggots and Peas they used to serve under previous owners. The approach roads are fun (when there's no traffic), the countryside's picturesque and the atmosphere at the cafe's relaxed - except when the cops pay a visit !”

“Another bright Sunday morning in Kenilworth, and like most motorcyclists from all over the Midlands I decided to take a ride out to Alan's Cafe, on the A442 between Kidderminster in Worcestershire, and Bridgnorth. There's barely room to move between the rows of Ducatis, Hondas, Kawasakis and Harley-Davidsons as leather-clad bikers make their way up the steps for tea and bacon rolls. I can see why it's one of their favourite roadside eateries; the food and service are excellent. Like most biker friendly cafes on a Sunday morning, you're going to have to be patient waiting for your nosh to arrive, but it's worth it. A top biker friendly cafe, which deserves a 4.5 star rating; I'm looking forward to riding over again, perhaps when the weather's a bit warmer on the tyres. Ride Free. Mike SP”

“Good place for bike spotting, but that's it.”

“This is my favourite cafe. On a great road and a location for heading to Wales or Welsh borders. Prices very reasonable and food good (not outstanding but as good as most) but what really sets this apart is that it's a regular bikers cafe 7 days a week and the service and friendliness of the staff is outstanding. Misses out on 5 stars as the car park is not friendly for novice riders, especially when busy, but no issue whatsoever for regular bikers.”
